It seems to me that we are reaching a point where talking about these subjects will be treated with the respect and interest they deserve. After all it is our history, who we are, where we came from, what we are here for and where we are going. It concerns all of us.
Very Compelling. I did my own bit of research regarding the jump in brain size around 2 million years ago and found that it wasn't the stone tools that resulted in a larger brain as we have small brained hominins such as homo floresiensis that are using tool kits akin to the oldowan industry in Africa. It had been around for 400,000-500,000 years and it only contributed to a very small increase in brain size if it was a factor at all. It was only after this sudden jump in brain size that we see the development of the Acheulean industry. It seems that brain size preceded the more sophisticated stone tools and not the other way around. Very Anomalous
